More testing

I've been looking for way to incorporate cheaper materials into my Steampunk jewellery. Still got to fiddle a bit as for now each piece is still taking several hours to make.

This here is a nice start, I saw a video on YouTube about using metallic wax (the kind you use for frames etc) on polymer clay, so I bought some and tried it out. It's hard to take a photo of the metallic sheen but it looks really cool. Much nicer than acrylic paint or the Fimo metallic powder. Mind you this piece has got a layer of said powder painted over with acrylics before using the wax.

Now to play some more and hopefully find something that works.
